INGREDIENTS

• 2 ounces mezcal, like Del Maguey Vida Clásico
• ¾ ounce orange juice, freshly squeezed
• ¾ ounce pickling brine
• ½ ounce simple syrup
• ½ ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
• 6 dashes  habanero bitters
• 2 ounces Mexican lager, like Modelo Especial
• orange twist garnish

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine all ingredients except lager and garnish into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

2. Shake for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.

3. Add lager to shaker, then strain the entire drink into a footed pilsner glass over fresh ice.

4. Garnish with an orange twist.
