  2. Taste the sawsawan and adjust the seasoning to your preference. Add the chilis if you want some spicy notes. Squeeze in some lemon.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a suitable storage container and refrigerate the sawsawan for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
