INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine milk, water and bread flour in small saucepot, whisk over medium/low heat until completely thickened (30 seconds).

  2. Combine warm milk and yeast, stir and let bloom (10 minutes)

  3. In stand mixer bowl, whisk together bread flour sugar & salt

  4. With dough-hook on low speed, add yeast & milk, then milk/flour mixture, then egg products

  5. When incorporated, add butter in batches

  6. Knead 5 - 8 minutes until smooth

  7. Form dough into ball and place in greased bowl , cover with damp towel, let rise 1 - 1.5 hours until doubled in size

  8. Punch down dough, on floured surface, cut down into 6 even pieces

  9. Shape into tight boules

  10. Set on baking sheet covered in greased parchment paper

  11. Cover & let rise 1 - 2 hours until doubled in size

  12. Brush with egg wash

  13. Bake at 375 degrees for 16 - 18 minutes
